Concert evenings see Niagara Square in Buffalo turn into one of the largest outdoor venues in the state of New York. Vendors all around the square provide food and drinks. The Canal Concert Series is held in two suburbs outside of Buffalo along the Erie Canal. Tonawanda and Lockport are the venues for these festivals and they are free of charge. Lewiston, few miles outside of Buffalo, sits right on the Niagara Gorge that overlooks Niagara Falls. Every summer the Artpark compound hosts a series of free concerts called Wednesdays On The Gorge.
